Stitch Media collaborated with researchers from Western University, University of British Columbia, and the University of New Brunswick to create a free, private, and secure app designed for Canadian women who may have experienced interpersonal violence. It was created using the best available evidence, including women’s needs and preferences, and knowledge from experts who work with women to support their health and well-being.
iHEAL helps women with unique needs manage their immediate safety and provides strategies to improve their health and lives over time. The iHEAL app was developed with support from the Public Health Agency of Canada, and is the product of a longstanding collaboration between members of the iHEAL research team.
